In 1985 Jean Reinders decided to take her love of making homemade candy and confections and share it with the people of El Dorado County. Ever since Jean was a little girl she has had a skill for making candy and loves to share it with her family and friends. Today Jean has turned that love into a thriving business that is proud to offer it’s customers over 65 different flavors of fudge, fresh baked cookies, homemade hot fudge and caramel sundaes, fresh peanut brittle and English toffee, a wide variety of chocolates, and over 15 different kinds of candy coated apples.
Twenty years later The Fudge Factory is now a family run business and has expanded the store to the great outdoors. Growing our own apples, raspberries, blueberries, walnuts, and strawberries to use in our creations (hence the “Farm” in our name). We don’t like to brag, but we do like to let people know that we make all the candy in the store (we aren’t your typical buy and sell candy store). Because we are able to make all the candy it gives us the freedom of being able to create custom candy for people and fill special orders. Want an out of the ordinary flavor of truffle created for your wedding? Would your business like to send out custom boxes of chocolates to its loyal customers as a thank you? Then contact the Fudge Factory Farm. We’ll work with you to create just what you are looking for. The Fudge Factory is open every day (except Thanksgiving) from September 1st to the middle of December (Be sure to come on our last day of the season for our 50% off sale). So, come by and say Hi, we always have lots of samples so everyone can get a taste of our treats. We look forward to meeting you! |
